A further advantage is that it allows for simultaneous editing by different departments. Every change is precisely recorded, indicating which employee made it. This significantly facilitates monitoring. Furthermore, the car importer has a clear overview of the process's progress at all times. Ultimately, this application greatly simplifies process management, which in turn reduces administrative costs.

The individual steps from order to delivery

Since many customers have very different requirements for their commercial vehicles, the application allows the process to be individually defined. The authorized dealer records all customer requests and enters them into the system accordingly. If a liftgate is needed, the vehicle is first sent to a bodybuilder. A bodybuilder is then responsible for adapting the interior. If the customer's company logo or an advertising slogan is to be applied to the body, a sign painter is also involved. Finally, the final inspection and delivery take place. The software records all individual steps and incorporates them into the workflow. Furthermore, it integrates the transport between the individual facilities, if necessary. Once the exact process is defined, all parties involved can access the application. Specific roles are defined so that individual departments only have access to the data they need. The program follows a timeline and specifies which steps must be completed by which deadlines.
