Social commitment is a central component of our corporate culture. In this way, we aim to improve the living conditions of people in disadvantaged regions. Increasing equal opportunities is of great social importance to us.
Support for education in Kenya - «Brick for Kimilili»
In many parts of Kenya, children learn in simple classrooms made of corrugated iron. The "Brick for Kimilili" project, organized by students from the University of St. Gallen, is working to replace corrugated iron with sturdy brick buildings. Comitas supports this initiative to provide local children with better learning conditions and a brighter future.
Care and support for elderly people in Mozambique - Evista Project
Mozambique lacks a proper healthcare system. People come from impoverished, rudimentary backgrounds and are unable to afford basic necessities or medical care. Once a week, they receive food donations at collection points in Vilanculos, consisting of dry bread rolls, a sweet treat, and a minimal amount of money, which is far from sufficient to cover their living expenses. The elderly are severely underserved in every respect.
With the “Mozambique Project VIVA” Comitas is supporting the construction of a care and support facility in Vilanculos. The aim is to hand over this facility to local staff after a training and familiarization phase.

For children in Switzerland - Petite Suisse Children's Aid
The Petite Suisse Children's Aid Comitas is committed to helping socially disadvantaged children in Switzerland and fulfilling their wishes to promote equal opportunities. Comitas supports this valuable work with donations to bring smiles to children's faces and give them hope.

For someone from our own ranks, the Joël Foundation Children's Home Care a blessing, and Comitas wanted to give something back and support the great team in their existing and future endeavors.
Plant for the planet
Reducing plastic waste within Comitas was just the beginning: Since 2021, Comitas has been planting trees every working day in cooperation with Plant-for-the-PlanetIn 2022, we doubled our commitment and planted two trees for every working day – an initiative we will continue in the future. Together, we support the organization's goal of planting one trillion trees and making a contribution to the environment.
Educational Trail Olympia Bob Run
The newly created Educational Trail Olympia Bob Run In St. Moritz, families are offered exciting insights into the history of the unique bobsleigh track in a playful way. Comitas was proud to support this project and contribute to its realization.
