The management of prisoner and baggage data was also prone to errors, and there was no systematic recording of collusion between prisoners.
For the application to be successful, it is crucial that it meets the requirements of dispatchers, drivers, and authorities. All access the same data – each with specific permissions. Therefore, a well-defined rights management system is essential.
Seamless integration into Securitas' IT infrastructure is crucial, particularly with Active Directory for secure login. Furthermore, transport changes must be transmitted to the driver app in real time via push notification to ensure flexible scheduling and smooth operations. At the same time, the application places the highest demands on data protection and security. Since sensitive data concerning prisoners and their transport routes is processed, secure operation within the Securitas data center is essential.
Efficient transport management with modern software
The new software digitizes all transport processes – from data collection and dispatching to mobile execution. The solution is user-friendly, secure, and efficient.
Optimized ordering process – Efficient order entry and management
Transport orders can be submitted in three ways: via email, upload to the portal, and directly using the online form. These new ordering options standardize the transport order process and reduce potential errors.
Automated route planning for efficient dispatching
The software automatically calculates the optimal routes, taking into account capacities, time windows, and known restrictions. Collisions and special transports are systematically factored in. Drivers and teams are assigned accordingly.
Secure management of personal and transport data
Already transported individuals are identified and compared with existing records. This prevents duplicate entries. Automated collusion checks prevent prisoners with conflicts from being transported together.
Mobile application for drivers – Smooth control of transport
The specially developed native Android app for drivers provides all relevant information for transport operations in real time. Key features include:
- Display of planned transports
- Status messages (e.g., arrival, departure)
- Recording of mileage and vehicle data
- Support during the transfer of prisoners, including documentation
All changes are synchronized directly, enabling seamless traceability.
Maximum IT security and data protection
The application is hosted in the Securitas data center. Access control is managed via the Securitas IAM system, ensuring that only authorized users have access. Thanks to complete integration into the existing IT infrastructure, secure and seamless operation is guaranteed.
