Coordination of equipment handover to employees of a Swiss cantonal police force
A Swiss cantonal police force faced the challenge of regularly equipping its officers with new gear, mobile phones, and clothing. Thanks to a customized web application from Comitas, this process is now more efficient, user-friendly, and secure.
Efficient planning and communication
The new web application allows police officers, for example those with older mobile phones, to be directly imported from a source system of the cantonal police. Based on this, those responsible can define flexible exchange appointments in precise 10-minute increments – individually adaptable to different locations and availability.
With a single click, an invitation is sent via email to all affected police officers. The text of the invitation email can be saved as a template or customized.
Self-booking of appointments
The invitation contains a convenient link for police officers to book an appointment. Using this user-friendly interface, they can select their preferred location, date, and time. Previously booked time slots are automatically blocked to prevent double bookings. Police officers can cancel their booking and select a new appointment at any time.
Maximum transparency
The web application provides cantonal police officers with a clear overview of their activities. They can track in real time how many appointments have already been booked and, if necessary, release new time slots or invite additional officers. This creates transparent and dynamic control of the entire communication process.
With this innovative solution, the tedious coordination of exchange activities is a thing of the past. Police officers can book their appointments independently and conveniently, while the cantonal police administrators always maintain an overview and can quickly make adjustments if necessary.
